PURPOSE RATHER THAN SURVIVAL

The only solution to the craving of the soul of man is to live for a purpose to living for survival. This reminds me of the story of a friend of mine whose name was Johnson………
He was such a brilliant boy and everybody respects him in my class. In fact, he was appointed as one of the prefects in my secondary school in that year. He usually comes up at the end of the term with the leading results and no one ever beats him for that.
Years go by and we all rounded off our secondary education with the West Africa Examination Council and we lost contacts of ourselves. I and Johnson were living in the same area before but my family relocated to a far place so we could not communicate for years. I lived for a while with my Mum until l gained admission to the University to study.

I was in my final year when l went out of the school to get something for myself in the city. I needed to trek to the bank when l stumbled on Johnson walking towards me with a folder, he has developed some beard and he was looking old. I was so surprised to see him.
As at the time we were in school, he told me he was going to study Economics which he did but on this day, he had become a Pastor. Why Pastor? I asked; he replied l have a calling to help me as many to know the Lord and l am running it full term.
It is unfortunate to note that we all go in the wrong direction for our lives because we have never had the knowledge of why we were born and our society through (the traditional educational policies) that remain unchanged had brainwashed us from childhood for several decades to believe that we must go the school to bag degree courses before we become what the Creator had designed us for when in fact, the profits and all that we are looking for are attached to the very reason we were created for- PURPOSE.

The truth is Revelation is more powerful than Education. Revelation liberates the Mind but Education has a way of keeping you in the tradition. Education re -configures human mind into believing in employment but Revelation brings you into taking dominion of your potentials and becoming a self employed person using your innate potentials and gifts.
If you have ever looked around, you will see that the Creator has put inside the creatures all that would bring those profits. Your profit lies in the discovery of your purpose which is expressed through your potentials. What you are looking for is right there inside YOU.
The flying capacity of the birds is right inside them, all the animals have their abilities inside them and none of them ever goes to the school to learn anything. The lion has never gone to the school but its innate ability to fight an enemy is right in its instinct, it is possible for a lion to kill troop of soldiers if not well handled because the instinct to kill is inside the lion.
These entire animals have their power in built in them, nobody ever teaches them. If a lion is coming to the school in order to learn how to fight, the school will be in danger. This is the dilemma of all MANKIND. We all fight for unnecessary things that we do not need.
We pursue a course here and there looking for what is inside us outside of us and after bagging the useless paper called ‘CERTIFICATE’.
We run after jobs upon jobs, the world of Employment has increased daily and the Capitalists are enjoying their large profits using the energy, gifts and potentials of several men and women who should have built from within their own domain and deploy themselves from the potential enemy (Capitalists) with their own vision, ideas and potentials to solve problems for the society.
This is not to rubbish their idea of jobs or going to school to pursue a course, of course, all of these remain the process to taking charge in one’s domain without regretting.But we must note this that the goal of every job is to cage you for years and forget yourself in the world of rat race through ignorance without tapping into your own potentials to create the job of your own. You must wean yourself faster before you are ruined.
Every job you will ever take is supposed to be a classroom to learn on your way to graduation into becoming your own boss , the jobs or employment is not to freeze you of your own purpose such that your brain is washed off to become slaves forever and end up with Retirement scheme.
The challenge of this truth is on the fact that we have been so brainwashed by the society that we must all work for the Government or the Capitalists throughout our lives without finding our own domain based on the potentials that have been locked up inside us.
For this fact, it took years for our mindset and belief system to change into the exact thing we are created for and manifest our innate gifts and potentials because we do not like to stretch ourselves, we want to be collecting money that will not satisfy us at the end of the month – SALARY and we tend to fight for this SURVIVING weapon that has become the prison warder of our lives.
We are released to manifest our innate abilities for awhile to see our families who are doing well outside the prison, but within five minutes, the Warder shouts at us that ‘it is time to go back to your prison cell, with the statement; you know you have to work before you can eat and our soul craves for the real ‘FREEDOM’ but there is nothing we can do when there is so much to do around us using the surviving weapon. I believe there is always a better way we can do it if only our eyes are opened.
We think we are enjoying a tip of an iceberg’ that has blinded our minds from breaking off from the chain of the prison. We grow old and our children also grow into that rat race and ‘suffering in silence’.
The struggle of life is best won when you are able to fight for the discovery of your PURPOSE to fighting for SURVIVAL because survival brings you into generational shame but purpose brings you into landmark and eternal reward of freedom because that is what you were born for.
You cannot really divide full capacity of your opportunities at old age if you have not deliberately devoured your spoils and rear your garden at your youthful age. Deploy yourself from the world of rat race!!!!!!!!!
